On November 14 Iran carried out drone and missile attacks on Kurdish opposition groups in northern Iraq. MECRA co-director Jonathan Spyer visited both sites in the 72 hours prior to the attacks. MECRA obtained exclusive footage from the scenes of the attacks which can be viewed below.

Iranian missile attacks took place in morning of November 14 at the headquarters of two Iranian Kurdish parties - Komala and PDKI.
At least five missiles fired at the PDKI headquarters in Koya, close to Erbil. Three PDKI members are reported killed and five wounded.
Komala's base was hit by drones but there were no reported casualties.

These positions were also hit on September 28, 2022. The attacks follow warnings in recent days of a possible imminent Iranian attack on targets in Iraqi Kurdistan.
